Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Trendosity (“we”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on trendosity.com and our mobile apps. It works alongside our Privacy Statement and our Terms of Use.
1. What are cookies?
2. Categories of cookies we may use
Essential
Required for the site to work. Keep you signed in, prevent fraud, remember your consent choices, route requests securely.
Functional
Remember your preferences across visits — last city you browsed, your color theme, whether you've dismissed a tip — to make the experience feel like yours.
Performance / Analytics
Anonymous, aggregated insight into how the site is used so we know what works and what doesn't. We don't use this to identify you individually.
Marketing / Advertising
Lets us surface relevant offers tied to recommendations — for example, a "Book on Booking.com" button for a hotel a friend recommended, or a deep link to a restaurant's OpenTable page, or a discount on a product. We may receive a referral fee. We may also use this to measure whether those offers are useful. Off by default — only set if you explicitly opt in via the banner.
3. Third parties that may set cookies on our behalf
- · Supabase — sets the authentication session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- · Vercel — sets a session cookie for our hosting platform; it does not see your account data.
- · Google Maps Platform — when you view a map or a Places autocomplete, Google may set its own cookies subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- · Resend — emails only; no cookies in your browser.
- · Anthropic — server-to-server only; no cookies in your browser.
- · Future analytics or affiliate / advertising partners — none today. When we add them, they will appear in the relevant category above and the cookie banner will request your consent before any cookie is set.
4. Your choices
You can manage cookies in several ways:
- · Cookie banner. On your first visit, accept all, reject non-essential, or toggle each category. You can re-open the banner anytime by clearing the
tr_cookiescookie or visiting your Settings. - · Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their privacy settings. See Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and prevent the site from working.
- · Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor the browser-level GPC signal automatically — if your browser sends it, we treat you as having opted out of non-essential cookies and of sale/share, and we don't show the banner.
- · Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. California (CCPA/CPRA) residents can opt out separately at any time at /do-not-sell.
- · Mobile app SDK identifiers. If we ship native apps, you can reset your device's advertising identifier in iOS / Android settings.
